National Pile Croppers welcomes Andy King to the business development team

As part of its continued expansion throughout the UK, National Pile Croppers (NPC) has added construction industry equipment veteran Andy King to its team of pile cropping experts. Andy will be covering the entire UK, developing both established and new business.

National Pile Croppers is pleased to announce that Andy King has joined its team of pile cropping professionals. His remit is to help customers, new and old, across the UK get the most out of their hydraulic pile cropping equipment. He will be on hand to ensure NPC customers receive the best customer care when using the company's in-house designed and built croppers.

Strategically located in central Bedfordshire, Andy has over 30 years of experience in the construction plant and tool hire industry, working across sales management and operations roles, alongside many years of supply chain management experience in construction. In that time, he has built a genuine understanding of what civil engineering and construction businesses actually need on site, which puts him in a strong position to recommend the right cropping solution for any project, large or small. That could be a Quad Cropper on a large bearing pile scheme, a CFA Cropper for augured piles, or a Pre-Cast Cropper for square precast piles.

"Andy was the obvious candidate for the role. He knows the companies, the equipment, and the problems and opportunities contractors and construction companies face. That insider knowledge, along with his construction industry experience, makes him the ideal person to deal with construction and civil engineering businesses and their pile cropping requirements," says National Pile Croppers' sales director Scott Fitchett.

"I am incredibly excited to be joining the NPC team. I have been aware of the solutions-focused product line for a while now, so when the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance," says Andy King. "With over 30 years in the construction machinery industry, I have built a strong reputation as a knowledgeable and results-driven sales professional. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive expertise in construction equipment, specialist attachments and foundation solutions, including the hire and application of equipment for trimming concrete foundation piles and EMV vibratory hammers for driving trench sheets."

Andy has focused on developing long-term customer relationships, understanding clients' operational requirements and delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that improve productivity on site. The same approach runs through NPC's own service, from advice on how to hire the right cropper through to delivery, on-site fitting and full training from the delivery technician.

"I take a forward-thinking and consultative approach to sales, combining technical knowledge with commercial awareness to help customers make informed investment decisions. I am passionate about the construction industry and committed to providing outstanding customer service, identifying new business opportunities and building lasting partnerships based on trust, integrity and performance. I look forward to bringing my skills and experience to help National Pile Croppers and its clients," concludes Andy King.

Andy's appointment supports NPC's nationwide coverage from its depots and regional service network, and adds another experienced point of contact for contractors planning their next foundations package.
