3-Jaw Cropper Hire

For contiguous and secant piles from 600mm to 900mm, where space between piles is tight.

3-JAW CROPPER 600mm - 900mm

Three powerful jaws deliver controlled pile reduction while projecting only 500mm around the pile. This compact operating envelope avoids interaction with adjacent piles in contiguous and secant pile formations.

Supported Pile Types

The 3-Jaw Cropper is designed for contiguous and secant piles from 600mm to 900mm. The 3-Jaw 750 covers 600mm to 750mm and the 3-Jaw 900 covers 750mm to 900mm.

Applications of use...

The 3-Jaw Cropper is built for contiguous and secant piled walls, where there is little room between one pile and the next. Its three jaws deliver controlled pile reduction while projecting only 500mm around the pile, so it can work along a wall without touching the piles either side.

FAQ's about the 3-Jaw Cropper

What pile sizes can the 3-Jaw Cropper handle?

The 3-Jaw Cropper covers piles from 600mm to 900mm. The 3-Jaw 750 takes piles from 600mm to 750mm and the 3-Jaw 900 takes piles from 750mm to 900mm.

What are the weight and dimensional specifications?

The 3-Jaw 750 weighs 2250kg and measures 1369mm (L) x 1369mm (W) x 1318mm (H). The 3-Jaw 900 weighs 2450kg and measures 1499mm (L) x 1499mm (W) x 1361mm (H).

What excavator size is required for safe operation?

Both models need a minimum 21-tonne excavator, running at up to 275 bar with a flow rate of 180 litres per minute.

What types of projects is the 3-Jaw Cropper best suited for?

Contiguous and secant piled walls, where the piles sit close together. The cropper projects only 500mm around the pile, which avoids interaction with the adjacent piles.

How does it improve efficiency compared to manual breaking?

The three jaws reduce the pile under hydraulic control, so it does not have to be broken out by hand. That cuts labour time and the health and safety risks that come with manual breaking.

Is training available for operators using the 3-Jaw Cropper?

Yes. National Pile Croppers provides on-site operator training along with a User Guide and Health & Safety documentation.
