Our new Pre-Cast 400 was picked up by the construction and plant press within days of launch in July. Here is a round-up of who covered it and what they said. The full story is in our own launch post, Pre-Cast 400 Pile Cropper Launched, and the specification is on the Pre-Cast Cropper hire page.
Project Plant
Scotland's plant magazine ran the launch on 22 July, covering the 550kg weight, the 6-tonne carrier, the 250mm crop depth and the first job with Careys for Holcim.

GE covered the new unit on 27 July for its geotechnical and foundations readership.
Awesome Earthmovers
A 24 July piece on the attachment for 300mm to 400mm pre-cast piles, noting that the Careys project ran the cropper off a 6-tonne excavator already on site.
IN Site
IN Site went beyond the release on 23 July, looking at why crop quality matters to the foundation programme and what a 6-tonne carrier means for constrained sites like our recent York city centre job.
Concrete Connect
Concrete Connect's Product Focus section carried the launch on 23 July, with Lee Aston's comments on the contractor feedback that shaped the design.
The Construction Index
The Construction Index reported the launch on 23 July under the headline "National Pile Croppers targets pre-cast".
Geomechanics.io
Geomechanics.io followed up with a technical briefing for contractors on what the PC 400 means for pre-cast pile head trimming and cut-off levels.
